• Who are we?

We are Music Lovers and Enthusiasts.
We give all those big and small a chance. We write, create and wear our hearts on our sleeve to give you this zine and blog. The Medusa Project started as some scribbles in a personal diary back in 2020 and is now a growing online community. Now, we invite you to explore the site, learn about our passions and perhaps get involved!

• Why Medusa? 

Originally the Greek myth painted Medusa as a gorgon villain after being cursed by Athena and then later hunted down by Purseus cutting off her head.

In 2008 Sculpture of Medusa by Luciano Garbati
re-imagines Medusa taking justice rightfully in her own hands cutting off the head of Perseus. This depiction of Medusa became an icon and symbol of triumph for victims of sexual assault and social exile.

For us, Medusa is a symbol of renewal, chances and creation, therefore painting Medusa in a positive light.
